Self-sufficient fire protection solutions

POLY CAFS systems are energy self-sufficient extinguishing systems. They function without any external energy and are simply driven by compressed air. For this reason and due to their small space requirement they are easy to install. Simplest system technology combined with the highest extinguishing efficiency make them the ideal solution for the most diverse of applications.

POLY Technology

The POLY system is a purely mechanical system made up of three main components:

  • Container with premix (water-foaming agent mixture) or admix (water and foaming agent are stored in separate tanks and are mixed at the system acitvation)
  • FLASH CAFS central unit for the production of CAFS (compressed air foam)
  • Compressed air bottles to drive the system and for foam expansion

The firefighting system functions completely self-sufficiently and requires no external energy – no pumps, engine or power. In this way the system can be upgraded very easily.

The system will be triggered automatically or via a fire detection system. Extinguishing agent output will then follow within seconds.

CAFS (compressed air foam system)

CAFS compressed air foam has an impressive foam quality and the highest extinguishing performance, even at low volume.

Under the influence of compressed air, a simple water-foam mixture will be mixed in the FLASH CAFS central unit into highly efficient CAFS compressed air foam. The mixing chamber is protected against external influences. Thus fumes cannot effect foam build-up.

The air required for foam expansion will be provided by compressed air bottles. In this way the system requires no external energy - it is completely self-sufficient.
