Rosenbauer Karlsruhe, Germany, is the Group’s sales and service center for aerials. The company’s high-tech products consist of fully automatic, hydraulic turntable ladders and rescue platforms with operating heights of up to 64 m, which are manufactured at the same location and sold worldwide.
Plant Karlsruhe has been involved in the development and production of fire service vehicles for over a century and numbers among the technological trendsetters in the aerials field. The company was taken over by the Rosenbauer Group in 1998 and subsequently a focus was placed on the manufacture of high-tech aerials.
The company has its own service organizations with mobile engineers for vehicle maintenance and servicing in Germany, Austria, France and the Netherlands. In the home market, vehicles are also looked after by sales and service partners, while a global customer service has “flying engineers” available for maintenance worldwide. Karlsruhe also acts as a schooling and training center for equipment operators and officers. A further specialty is the refurbishing of vehicles, which Karlsruhe restores to an as-new condition.
