The TORNADO has already made a name for itself as a classic among protective boots. The NEW TORNADO has been improved again compared to its predecessor. The boot was certified for all firefighting and rescue operations (EN 15090:2012 F2A HI3 CI AN SRC). Regarding heat and cold insulation and anti-slip safety coating, it complies with the highest class of protection. This is important, as in emergency situations firefighters must be able to rely on their equipment.
More protection for more safety
Many injuries that occur during firefighting operations affect the ankle area. Which is why an ankle protector (AN certified) has been incorporated on the inside as well as the outside of the NEW TORNADO. This offers increased protection against twisting as well as against the penetration of sharp objects. Additionally, the boots have been provided with reflective elements below the pant cuff. The sole has been improved again too and offers a firm grip on all surfaces. The NEW TORNADO is therefore also SRC (slip resistance) certified.
Stronger hold meets quick to put on
The NEW TORNADO impresses through its extraordinary wearing comfort. With the special two-zone lacing system, the forefoot and the calf can be laced with different strengths. The different lacing is fixed by the lace stopper at ankle height. In this way, you can perfectly adjust the boot to every foot shape – whether you have a narrow or a wide foot. Once it has been set correctly, the lacing remains the same. Thanks to the quick-entry zipper, putting it on and taking it off is quick and smooth. Rosenbauer has provided the NEW TORNADO with four flex zones. These enable a large gain in freedom of movement thanks to the soft leather.
