HEROS-titan wins the iF DESIGN AWARD 2017

Awarded in the "Industry" discipline

The HEROS-titan firefighting helmet has won this year's iF DESIGN AWARD and is thus now among the worldwide renowned design label's honorees. The helmet was awarded in the "Industry" discipline, "Skilled Trades" category. The HEROS-titan won over the jury, which consisted of 58 independent experts, with its innovative and sporty bionic design made of high-performance polyamide and its outstanding protective properties. The new generation of HEROS firefighting helmets combines maximum protection with perfect fit and an impressive weight of only about 1.3 kg. The helmet stands for power, dynamism, and lightness.

The iF DESIGN AWARD is issued once annually in Germany by one of the oldest independent design institutions, iF International Forum Design GmbH in Hannover. The number of applicants was enormous: the jurors received 5,575 submissions from 59 countries for the coveted award.

The iF DESIGN AWARD is one of the most important design awards in the world. It recognizes designs from all disciplines: product, packaging, communication and service design, architecture and interior design as well as professional concepts.
