The FIRE FIT protective suit has proven itself tens of thousands of times in the toughest of fire fighting operations. The new FIRE FIT 2 is the logical advancement of this popular operational clothing. A new cut, a new design and practical details are what characterize this protective jacket and protective trousers. Like its predecessor, this new model offers excellent protection for various fire fighting operations.

Regardless of whether technical operations, traffic accidents, or an inside fire attack - the FIRE FIT protective suit by Rosenbauer and its various designs have stood the test of time in countless emergencies. With the new FIRE FIT 2 model, these many years of experience have been used to further improve the popular protective suit.

New cut for more freedom of movement

The FIRE FIT 2 protective jacket is slightly shorter than its predecessor. The sleeve design is also new: the specially formed sleeve head provides even more freedom of movement. Annoying pull-out of the inner sleeve is also prevented by the special processing. The protective trousers have also been reworked and improved. The suspenders are now five centimetres wide and provide a comfortable and firm fit without constriction. The waistband has also been redesigned compared to the previous model. Knee reinforcements and knee pads are derived from the FIRE MAX 3 protective suit and ensure maximum wearability. As is usual with Rosenbauer, the FIRE FIT 2 is available in double sizes (short or long) and with three different back lengths. This allows everyone to find the right size, resulting in a high degree of wearing comfort with optimal fit, and thus also safety.

Optimal visibility through new striping

The FIRE FIT 2 has also changed visually compared to its predecessor: The striping on both the protective jacket and the protective trousers has been unified and updated. The reflective yellow-silver-yellow 3M striping ensures optimum visibility both during the day and at night. A name strip can be attached to the left breast as usual, and a reflective inscription can also be attached to the back. The jacket is equipped with a radio pocket on the left breast as standard. A separate holster for the hand-held microphone ensures that firefighters have both hands free during operations.

Highest protection level with great comfort

The FIRE FIT 2 protective suit is rated as protection level 2, and is thus at the highest level. This makes it suitable for all fire fighting operations, including inside fire attacks. Certified according to EN 469:2005 (protective clothing for fire fighting) and EN 1149-5 (protective clothing - electrostatic properties), it meets the high requirements of this protection class.

Thanks to its comfortable cut, the use of proven materials, and the solid basic equipment, the FIRE FIT 2 is a worthy successor to its predecessor and will surely be used by many fire departments.
