Rosenbauer is THE leading supplier of operational and protective clothing for firefighters. The product line ranges from protective suits, suits for rescue operations and operational suits to functional clothing. Firefighter clothing and bunker gear are developed in-house at Rosenbauer and manufactured in accordance with customers' requirements.
Tested in accordance with EN 469
EN 469 is the standard for the technical and ergonomic performance requirements of firefighter bunker gear. The standard assumes two classes of performance. Rosenbauer protective clothing meets the highest protection level in all three categories.
EN 469 tests:

Safety is paramount with regard to the personal protective equipment of fire fighting emergency crews. The testing of the operational and protective suits corresponding to the highest levels of performance of EN 469 is therefore an important quality criterion for Rosenbauer. In the workmanship the highest value is placed on the use of high-quality outer materials (NOMEX® Tough, NOMEX® NXT, NOMEX® XTR, PBI) and extreme heat and flame resistant materials (PU-coated aramide fabric).

Protective clothing from Rosenbauer
Firefighters clothing is developed in-house at Rosenbauer. Product management, pattern development, design and pattern cutters intensively work on new models and on the continuous improvement of the protective suits.
The design tailors have been based in Leonding, Austria since 2012. Individual customer requirements or changes to standards can therefore be rapidly implemented in new products.
