Rosenbauer Karlsruhe constitutes the Group’s competence center for aerials. These include turntable ladders and aerial rescue platforms. The vehicles are manufactured according to all the relevant standards and are supplied to fire services around the world.
Aerial rescue vehicles have been manufactured at the Karlsruhe location for more than a century and the first truck-mounted turntable ladder with a height of 25 m was manufactured in 1913. Founded by Carl Metz, who lent the firm his name, the company has been part of the Rosenbauer Group since 1998. Approximately 120 aerials are produced at Karlsruhe yearly.
