In Saudi Arabia, Rosenbauer has two production centers for the nation’s fire services. Its headquarters are located in Riyadh, the country’s capital. At the King Abdullah City Economic (KAEC) and at the plant in Jeddah vehicles are to be completed for the domestic market. Since 2016 final assembly of fire truck production has been put into service for the local market using so-called SKD kits (semi-knocked-down chassis and other vehicle components) in KAEC. These kits are to be produced in Austria and sent to Saudi Arabia for final assembly.
