Rosenbauer offers different models of fire hose nozzles and fire fighting monitors. The SELECT FLOW nozzle enables the manual adjustment of the water flow quantity. With the PRO JET model, solid and spray jets are possible simultaneously. The NEPIRO combines high-pressure technology and fire nozzle, whereby a particularly fine atomization of the water is made possible.

Nozzles and high-pressure nozzles


In nozzles the water is fed through a ring-shaped nozzle, whereby a hollow stream of water is produced. In contrast to combination spray nozzles, the water flow is not interrupted when changing from solid to spray jet. A solid jet from a nozzle is more stable because it does not rain out easily. This results in a high throw range. Usually stream patterns and flow rates are continuously adjustable. The stream of water is carved up by a rotating sprocket. This results in very small droplets, which maximizes the extinguishing success.


High-pressure nozzles

High-pressure nozzles have a discharge pressure of up to 40 bar. Through this high pressure, a strong misting of the water stream is achieved, resulting in high heat absorption capacity. Due to the high recoil forces, they are designed in pistol shape with an arch in the style of a branchpipe.

Full jet

  • Large throw range, which enables working from a safe distance
  • High kinetic energy to extinguish embers and fire pockets

Spray jet

  • Improved surface cooling compared to the full jet
  • Generally causes less water damage compared to the full jet
  • Can be used when working with small safety distances in high and low voltage systems

Protective shield

  • The finest of water droplets and a wide scattering angle provide a broad water shield
  • Protects the crew from radiant heat
