Dry decon kit

Basic decon kit

Basic decon kit
  • For fast decontamination in operations with hazardous substances
  • Enables the decontamination of response personnel in medium-sized operations, pursuant to decon level D1
  • In a decon pool, persons wearing protective suits and equipment
    are sprayed with a decon agent and then rinsed with cold water (decon circle and brush). Regeneration equipment and a waste water management system round out the package.

  • For decontaminating response personnel and equipment in medium-sized to large operations
  • With 6 or more persons, i.e. medium-sized to large operations, a structured DECON procedure with the following stations is a must: pre-cleaning, main cleaning (cold and warm water) and subsequent regeneration (dressing and care)

Decon pool

  • The decon pool is included in the basic decon kit and is used for pre-cleaning in the standard decon set
  • The decon brush or decon circle is used when spraying down the person to be cleaned
  • Use of the decon pool is flexible and can, therefore, also be used to collect hazardous substances in an emergency

  • The mobile "DEKON TROLLEY SL35" or "DEKON TROLLEY SL50" foam decontamination device is an ideal decontamination system
  • The effectiveness of the decontamination is also increased through the use of a foaming decon agent in combination with CAFS
