We live in a digital world: Software and connected devices have become an essential part of emergency response operations. Rosenbauer Digital Solutions (RDS) complete our product portfolio with state-of-the-art technologies.

At this year’s Intersec show, which took place from January 16th to January 18th 2022, we put a strong focus on digital products and services: Connected Fleet, Connected Drones as well as tactical Simulators have attracted a lot of attention and proven to be important future topics for our customers. We have seen that transparency, efficiency and safety are key subjects for operators of large fleets. With the integration of vehicles, drones, robots and pumps into our digital ecosystem we help our customers to stay in control before, during and after an incident.

Rosenbauer Intersec DubaiWe used the trade show in the UAE for intense customer interaction and gathering feedback on our Airport, Civil Defence and Smart City concepts. Our digital fleet management and telematics solution was received with high interest. The integration of DJI Drones into the Rosenbauer Ecosystem has inspired our visitors. It was a very interesting takeaway that the satellite-based wildfire detection solution, we are working with, is of high interest in the Arabian countries, with slightly adapted use cases, though. The capability to recognize fires from space could, for example, be used in the detection of illegal waste incineration.

Above all, RDS aims to be the link or “Connector” of the Rosenbauer products, but also strengthen the relationships with external partners. The “RDS Connected” product lines come with a strong backbone integrated with our vehicle program – Connected Fleet. A comprehensive drone package, bundling DJI Hardware and Rosenbauer Software – Connected Drones. And our powerful incident management system Connected Command (former EMEREC).
