340 hp, 2,000 liters of water, 200 liters of foam – The AT rescue fire fighting vehicle of the AMAG Ranshofen plant fire department is impressive.
This vehicle was conceptualized for the initial attack on the premises for a wide variety of scenarios.
With its 340 hp and ZF’s 5-speed automatic transmission, the 18-ton vehicle was designed to be ready for operation as quickly as possible anywhere on the company’s premises.
In case of fire, the 2,000 liters of water and the 200 liters of foam can be used in the best possible way. Foam proportioning takes place through the fully automatic quantity-controlled pre-mixer unit FIX MIX with 1% or 3% proportioning rate.
For the initial attack, the mixture is discharged in a personnel-saving manner via the RM 15 C water monitor mounted on the front bumper. This can be controlled from the driver’s cab as well as via a radio remote control.
For technical deployments, the vehicle has a 50 kN 2-speed Treibmatic TR030/FIRE intake winch, an RS14 portable power generator and numerous other equipment.
To optimally illuminate the scene of the emergency, the LED ambient lighting of the vehicle is equipped with a rotating and swiveling light tower with eight high-power LED headlamps recessed in the body.
