ERGONOMIC SEATING - both before and after operations

 One for all
The SCBA (Self Contained Breathing Apparatus) fixture grip roller can be simply
adjusted to any type of breathing apparatus
by means of wrench. The fixture canaccomodate all conventional one and two
steel or man-fibre reinforced plastic
bottle sets. Foamed components ensure excellent protection of the BA.
Ergonomics for the complete back area
The back is stabilised by means of a combination of a headrest, a BA posterior
plate and a foamed equipment frame. A newly developed cushion with an optimum
shape and flexible foam provides a high level of seat comfort.
Fast as lightning donning of the SCBA
The headrest has a compartment for the BA-mask and has padded horns on both sides
for the SCBA belts. This means that the belts are at hand when the apparatus
has to be put on and that the back is "belt-free". The headrest and
the grip roller then swing upward and operations with the breathing apparatus
can begin!
Maximum ergonomics
Instead of locking back the empty SCBAs into the seat for the return journey,
the COMFORT SCBA fixture replaces the missing back support with an ergonomically
formed, fold down back-plate. With the other padded COMFORT components this provides
a perfect seating position. |
