In situations where the N100 cannot be driven directly by the truck's drive shaft or engine, an optional helical gear unit is available.

The gear unit can be for counter-clockwise (Fig. 1) or for clockwise (Fig. 2 ) rotating PTOs. This allows two speed ratios (1.23 and 1.49) and also allows the rotational direction to be reversed, if needed. The drive unit is seated in a water-cooled oil bath for continuous powered operations

  the pump mounts directly on a diesel engine
• Without gearbox
  the pump is directly driven by the truck's drive shaft
• With gearbox
  driven by the truck's drive shaft, in cases where fitting is difficult, or reverse drive operations are required
