Characteristic
The ROSENBAUER FIX-MIX is an integrated tool of the ROSENBAUER N/NH-pump series. On the normal pressure level the ROSENBAUER FIX-MIX can admix foam concentrate with one, two or three proportioning rates (1%,3% or 6%). The ROSENBAUER FIX-MIX is also able to admix foam concentrate at the high pressure level with 3% proportioning rate.
The ROSENBAUER FIX-Mix is a fully automatic working tool. Only one lever must be operated to open the foam induction valve and the foam compound suction valve at the same time. Also the proportioning rate is adjusted by the same lever. The ROSENBAUER FIX-Mix works self contained without external power. It is also independent from the pump- periphery and adjusts itself fully automatic to all operating conditions.
At the combined pump of the ROSENBAUER NH-series there is also the possibility to admix foam concentrate at the high pressure level in the same way. During the delivery of pure water at the normal pressure outlets, foam can be generated at the high pressure outlets in the same time

The ROSENBAUER N/NH pump series with the ROSENBAUER FIX-MIX foam proportioning system is a thousandfold used system, above all at municipal vehicles, and stands the test every day - all over the world.
Technical data
Flow measurement:
The volume of the delivered water is measured by a spring loaded measuring cone. During the pump operation, this cone is lifted proportionally to the pump delivery.
 
Foam proportioning system
Up to 3 foam dosing cones (1%,3% or 6%) are controlled by the spring loaded measuring cone at the pump outlet via a actuating rod. This foam dosing cones are regulating the volume of the sucked foam concentrate by opening and closing a ring gap, proportionally to the delivered water. The proportioning rate is defined by the geometry of the foam dosing cone.
