The N100 normal pressure pump has been developed as a system
solution for industrial and air crash tenders. The single-stage
centrifugal pump with stator and spiral housing provides
performance of 10,000 l/min at 10 bar at 1,700 rpm during
tank suction operation. The pump is thus the most powerful
in the Rosenbauer range. The pump requires a drive of approx.
220 kW and can be directly attached to the diesel engine
via an SAE 1 drive flange. The N 100 was designed especially
for integration into vehicles and the related service friendliness
and therefore has a weight of only approx. 200 kg and dimensions
of 1000 x 950 x 700 mm. This compactness permits installation
in air crash tenders in a
transverse direction as an engine pump unit, whereby due
to the low speed, the pump does not require an intermediate
gearing. The enormous output of 10,000 l/min at 10 bar and
the extreme quietness of the N 100, the direct drive, the
T-shaped cover with 2 suction inlets and the high level of
service friendliness (simple access to the pump and its auxiliary
systems) provide the perfect prerequisites for the employment
of the N 100 in the largest category of Rosenbauer industrial
and air crash tenders, e.g. the PANTHER and SIMBA series. |

Parallel to the development of N 100, a
new 4-stage high-pressure pump has been created with rated output
of 500 l/min at 40 bar. The H5 runs at a speed of 3,400 rpm,
requires a 130 kW drive, has two pressure outlets and is used
in combination with the N 100.
The new, large KA P600 reciprocating priming pump has also been
developed for the
bleeding of the N 100. The oil-filled, dry running resistant,
double piston suction pump corresponds with the types that are
already familiar from the portable FOX pump and the NH integrated
pump series and proven bleeding devices, although the KA P600
offers twice the suction performance.
Accordingly, in tandem with the N5 high-pressure pump, the KA
P600 and foam admixer, the N 100 can be combined in a variety
of ways to form a complete system solution.
