The RM8E is the compact model in the Rosenbauer turret family. It is designed for water and foam operation, and can also be supplied in an optional powder version (RM8EP).

The maximum output amounts to a total of 1,000 l/min at 10 bar with a throw range of up to 42m. The RM8E is supplied as a front turret on air crash tenders and is similarly used on communal and industrial tenders.

The turret is operated via a pistol grip using electric remote control. This allows the positioning of the turret, the activation of the "water march" function and jet settings from full to spray. The turret is also available in a manually operated optional version (RM8M).
