POLY CAFS firefighting systems do not rely on external power sources. The AFFF foam / water premix is in the stainless steel extinguishing agent tank. Compressed air from cylinders is reduced to a constant operating pressure by means of a pressure governor. This ensures that extinguishing agent is forcibly discharged from the tank on the one hand, while expanding the extinguishing agent solution under pressure on the other - CAFS.
