Characteristic

The ROSENBAUER R120 fire extinguishing pump is a 2-stage centrifugal pump (normal pressure) with maximum performance of 1.600 ltr/min at 10 bar. This pump has been tested and approved as FP 8/8 in accordance with DIN14420, equipped with an automatic induction instrument, and can be supplied as a front or rear-mounted integrated pump.

Among the advantages offered by the R120, the most outstanding are its high levels of efficiency and service-friendly design. Due to the various optional features available, the R120 can be matched to numerous vehicle characteristics.

Technical Data

Pump:

2-stage NP-rotary pump made of corrosion-resistant light metal alloy with triple bearing, stainless steel pump shaft. The sealing of the pump is gained by two maintenance-free mechanical shaft seals.

Priming pump:

An electromagnetically actuated double-action piston pump, running in oil bath is used as priming pump. The light alloy piston is driven by a sliding block on an eccentric shaft.

Pump heating / pump cooling:
A water cover, connected to the cooling circulation of the driving engine covers the pump and avoids the freezing of the pump during the journey at low exterior temperature and furthermore serves as additional cooling of the driving engine during long pump operations.
