Hand over of an Air CrashTender

The final handover of the BUFFALO 9000 / 1200 / 500/ 120 air crash tender for the NATO Airborne Early Warning & Control Force in Geilenkirchen/ Germany, took place at Rosenbauer headquarters on October 14-16, 2003

Representatives from the airfield fire brigade and the responsible NATO officers completed the handover. Rosenbauer Deutschland GmbH handled this order, which represented the first Rosenbauer vehicle to be delivered to NATO.

The vehicle has been designed to allow operations on both the runways and in the area of buildings. This is the reason why the vehicle is equipped with handlines and portable reels.

During the hand-over, the NATO delegation praised the outstanding engineering and quality finish of the crash tender, as well as the smooth and punctual completion of the project.
