AFFF = Aequous Film Forming Foam

The special feature of AFFF in comparison to normal multipurpose foams is that the fluorotensides have the ability to form an aqueous film beween the foam and the liquid fuel. The film is impermeable to vapor and, thanks to its enhanced spreading ability, allows a protective layer of foam to cover the surface of the liquid more quickly.

• Very good results for A and nonpolar (nonalcoholic) B fires
• Can be stored for up to 6 years in extinguishing agent tanks
• Frostproof to -30°C
