Due to its compactness, the electronically remote controlled RM25E is suitable for use as both a front or roof turret (turret) on air crash, industrial and communal tenders. It is designed for water and foam , but can also be supplied for powder operation as an option (RM25EP). Foaming quality is considerably raised by the addition of an optional branch pipe with star filter.

Maximum output at 10 bar amounts to 2,500 l/min with a throw range of up to 67 m.

The turret is operated by electronic remote control using a pistol grip. This controls the positioning of the turret, whereby the position of the pistol grip and the turret are always identical during operation. The pistol grip is also fitted with additional switches for functions such as "water march", jet adjustment between full and spray and the setting of partial quantities. The electronics can also programme the stand-by and attack positions of the vehicle, as well as its contour, thus preventing superstructure damage.
